Completion of the course to satisfactory standard enables one to be a competent CREW on a sailing vessel up to 10 meters & to safely sail in familiar waters in moderate wind and sea conditions by day. Prerequisite None.

Basic Cruising

Completion of the course to satisfactory standard enables one to be a competent as both SKIPPER & CREW on a sailing vessel up to 10 meters & to safely sail in familiar waters in moderate wind and sea conditions by day. Prerequisite None.
Available as Basic Intensive or Basic Live Aboard

BASIC INTENSIVE (BI): $1099.00 per person double occupancy +taxes Four Days Mon. To Thurs.(9 To 4) On The Water With 3 Evenings Of Theory Mon.- Wed. (7-9) . (38 hour total)

Offered every week starting May 31^st and last class September 27^th. Best for wannabe sailors with little or no experience.

BASIC LIVE-ABOARD (BLA): $1099.00 per person double occupancy + taxes Five days 9:00AM Mon. to 4:00 PM Fri. daytime sailing and overnight anchoring covering practical and theory of keelboat sailing. (40 hours total)

Intermediate Crew

Intermediate Cruising

Completion of the course to satisfactory standard enables one to be a competent as both SKIPPER and CREW on a vessel up to 12 meters to cruise safely in familiar waters in moderate wind and sea conditions by day. Bareboat charter certification equivalency. Emphasis is on the water live-aboard skills.
Prerequisite - Basic Cruising, Coastal Navigation Recommended

INTERMEDIATE INTENSIVE CHALLENGE(IIC): $999.00 per person + taxes double occupancy Live-Aboard Three Days And Nights (Thurs. 6:00 Pm To Sun. 4:00pm) Practical Application Of The Intermediate Standard. Theory Self Studied Prior To Class.

Advanced Crew

Completion of the course to satisfactory standard enables one to be a competent CREW on a vessel up to 15 meters to cruise safely in coastal or inland waters in any wind weather and sea conditions by day and night.
Prerequisite -Intermediate Crew or Cruising , Coastal Navigation,
VHF, and Practical Experience, Fist Aid Certificate recommended. See Advanced Cruising.

Advanced Cruising

Completion of the course to satisfactory standard enables one to be a competent as both SKIPPER and CREW on a vessel up to 15 meters to cruise safely in coastal or inland waters in any wind, weather and sea conditions by day and night.
Prerequisite -Intermediate Crew or Cruising , Coastal Navigation,
VHF, and Practical Experience, Fist Aid Certificate recommended.

ADVANCED CRUISE NORTH CHANNEL (ACNC): $1999.00 per person hot bunking Seven Days And Nights (SUN 6:00Pm To Sun 4:00PM) Live-Aboard Cruise To The North Channel And Return With Day And Night All Weather Sailing. Practical And Theoretical Application Of The Advanced Standard,

Offshore Cruising

Completion of the course to satisfactory standard enables one to be a competent as both SKIPPER and CREW on a vessel up to 20 meters to cruise safely offshore in all wind, weather and sea conditions by day and night for at least 500 nautical miles and using Celestial navigation.
Prerequisite -Advanced Cruising Standard, Celestial Navigation Standard, VHF Radio Certificate, Nationally Recognized First Aid CPR Level "B" or higher Certificate, Advanced Navigation Recommended. Best for seasoned coastal or inland sailors contemplating their own offshore passage or long range cruising.

OFFSHORE CRUISE (OC10): $2499.00 per person hot bunking Ten days and nights live aboard cruise at least 500 nautical miles (e.g. New York to Bermuda) in the open ocean

OFFSHORE CRUISE (OC14): $3999.00 per person hot bunking Fourteen days and nights live aboard cruise at least 500 nautical miles (e.g. Bermuda to Virgin Islands) in the open ocean

OC10 & OC14 BOAT: 1999 JEANNEAU 45.2

OC10 & OC14 FEE INCLUDES:Text, Advanced Exam, Take Home Open Book Offshore Exam, 1 or2 Instructors, Examination of Practical Application of Celestial Navigation, Basic Provisions.

Coastal Navigation

Completion of the course to satisfactory standard enables one to be competent to demonstrate the navigational theory required to safely navigate a yacht in coastal or inland waters. the practical application is introduced in the Intermediate standards and demonstrated in Advanced Cruising.
